Web Guiding, Web Viewing and Defect Detection, Colour Monitoring and Register Control

In 2014, BST International acquired the shares of eltromat GmbH and the merger of the worldwide operations began. Both companies are based in Bielefeld, Germany. Prior to that, BST had acquired Accuweb of Madison Wisconsin. Accuweb is a respected manufacturer of web guides and complements the BST web guide product range. The new parent company name is BST eltromat International, while in North America, the former BST Promark is now BST North America Inc.

BST International (Bielefeld/Germany) is the leading manufacturer of quality assuring systems for the web processing industries, specialized on systems for web guiding, color measurement, web inspection, register control, layer thickness and basis weight measurement as well as tailored solutions for tire production.

The previous eltromat GmbH (Leopoldshöhe/Germany) stands for innovative video and inspection systems, as well as color and register control solutions for quality inspection and quality control for in-line printing processes.

With the acquisition, the international BST group becomes a leading technology partner for all quality assurance and production optimization requirements of the web processing industries. With the combined know-how, the experienced team, the strengths of the product lines and the global manufacturing and service network, the new company offers a portfolio to the customers that is unique in the market.

Webconvert Ltd. is the exclusive Canadian representative for BST, and with the addition of Accuweb and eltromat product ranges, Webconvert can offer a one-stop resource for all product inquiries.

Webconvert Ltd. is pleased to announce the signing of a new manufacturer’s representative agency agreement with Next Generation Recycling (NGR). Webconvert will be responsible for promoting NGR’s recycling machinery to Canadian blown film and cast film manufacturers. Webconvert’s excellent reputation for customer service will continue with the addition of this product line. NGR has a strong market presence with over 800 machines sold worldwide. NGR manufactures all of its recycling machinery at its headquarters in Austria but maintains a Sales & Customer Care Center in Norcross, GA. This combines quality machinery with local technical support and service throughout North America.

The Customer Care Center also includes a full testing facility so we can run trials for our clients to prove out our machine capabilities on even the toughest of materials and applications.
